ABIHPEC honours the best suppliers of 2017

On July 5, ABIHPEC - the Brazilian Association of the Personal Hygiene, Perfumery and Cosmetics Industry - has awarded suppliers that qualified to its Supplier Qualification Program. A total of 37 companies, including suppliers of fragrances, packaging, ingredients and services, as well as contract manufacturers were during a ceremony held in São Paulo.

The tenth edition of the program has brought qualified suppliers above expectations. The average note of the packaging segment jumped by 6% compared to 2016 at 9.1. The evaluation is done by marketers of finished products that are members of the ABIHPEC, with the help of consulting firm Embala Ideias, which undertakes the data analysis.

Givaudan named supplier of the Year

Givaudan, one of the leading global fragrance suppliers, brought home the 2017 Supplier of the Year award. "This recognition is very important for us because it shows our commitment for the industry and our customers. It is a great satisfaction to receive this award doubly" said Lucia Lisboa, vice president of Fine Fragrances for Latin America.
